Abstract

Starting from fundamental principles, Newtonian mechanics establish general theorems on the motion of a mass points system, computing all external and internal reaction forces. Founded by Lagrange, analytical mechanics introduce new methods, writing general equations of motion of constrained systems which can eliminate the reaction forces.
