Limitations of Education, Training and Knowledge of Pain and Its Treatment
Pain is a ubiquitous clinical problem. Surprisingly, many healthcare providers who treat pain have inadequate knowledge or training to address it properly. This is reflective of an inadequate education and training system. Fortunately, there are several steps that can be readily taken to improve the state of care.
