The previous 26 chapters have shown that quantum theory represents the greatest scientific makeover of the 20th century. Furthermore, the fact that we live in a world that is only seemingly real and deterministic represents a complete break with our everyday habits of thought. We still do not know how this realization will affect our future thinking. The philosophical meaning of a dissolution of the subject–object dualism in the microcosm, the principles of symmetry in theoretical physics, and the non-local effects of entangled particles have not yet penetrated deeply into our everyday lives and thinking.
