Management of Perianal Abscess and Fistula-in-Ano

Abstract
Perirectal abscess and fistulae are a common diagnosis in general surgery. The presentation can vary from a small, localized process to serious systemic illness. Management of these processes depends on a thorough knowledge of anatomy and the patient’s comorbid conditions.
