Photo-Response of Carbon Nanotubes and Si Junctions
In this work, we have investigated the effect of light on the single walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) and silicon (Si) interface. It is observed that, chemical stimulated SWCNTs/Si interface shows better rectifying behavior as compared to pristine SWCNTs/Si interface. Moreover, the power conversion efficiency for functionalized SWCNTs/Si interface is 1.4% which is mainly due acid doping in CNTs. The outcome of the present work might provide a new avenue for designing optoelectronic and light-energy conversion devices.
