V404 Cygni

Abstract

V404 Cygni is a low-mass microquasar composed of a 8–15 M\(_\odot \) BH and a \(0.7^{+0.3}_{-0.2}\)M\(_\odot \) K3 III companion star. The system is located at a distance of \(2.39\pm 0.14\) kpc in the Cygnus Constellation. It displays an orbital period of 6.5 days and a jet inclination angle with respect to our line of sight of \({\sim }67^{\circ +3}_{ -1}\).
