Expansive Open-Door Laminoplasty for Cervical Myelopathy
To totally decompress the spinal cord that is compressed at multilevels through the dorsal shift of the spinal cord in addition to direct decompression by the posterior displacement of the laminae. By preserving the posterior supporting structures, the spinal cord is protected, and the mechanical stability of the cervical spine is maintained.
