Abstract

Determining the correct size of device is of critical importance to minimize complications. While industry provides a guide, nuanced understanding of the patient’s anatomy and risks should also guide size choice. Echocardiogram and intra-procedural balloon sizing can aid in cases of borderline sizing or poor renal function.
