Abstract

Adhesive capsulitis, or often called “frozen shoulder,” is a very common shoulder disorder encountered in the orthopedic office. It is easily confused with other shoulder pathology and tends to be a diagnosis of exclusion. Its development is poorly understood however in most cases is often a self-limiting condition.
