Perforated Allograft Cartilage
Allograft cartilage has been established as one tool in the cartilage restoration armamentarium. Fresh-stored osteochondral allograft (OCA) has a long history of efficacy, yet availability remains challenging. To address the availability concerns, new products have been introduced starting with DeNovo® NT particulated cartilage. Expanding on that knowledge base of cartilage-only tissue and the knowledge that bone is the source of most recognized antigens, allograft cartilage with minimal bone is currently supplied by two suppliers.
