Introduction: Playing Devil’s Advocate: What is the Business of Business?

Every argument has a counter-argument, and no two views of the same subject are ever identical. The purpose of this anthology is to promote—from contributors’ different perspectives—the inclusion to management education curricula of concepts of corporate social responsibility. Opposing arguments are not represented in the chapters; therefore, a “devil’s advocacy” is needed here to balance the debate.
