Preventing excessive pressure of the denture on the healing tissues is the main purpose of using tissue conditioners in the mouth. Also, tissue conditioners can be used as a functional impression material. This chapter focuses on all the indications, features, problems, and clinical application procedures of the tissue conditioner materials.
