Abstract

This chapter outlines the pathophysiology, clinical presentation, inheritance, and incidence of factor X deficiency. The chapter describes the interaction with pregnancy and discusses the medical and anesthetic management of pregnant women with factor X deficiency, including treatment of acute hemorrhage.
