Follow-Up Subject Visits
For all visits, the confirmation phone calls the day before can be used as another time to thank the subject for participating in clinical research. The subject should also be told what to expect at the visit. Demographic information should be updated at every visit, as subjects regularly change cell phone numbers. Any new consents should be signed at the beginning of the visit, study medication should be collected and re-dispensed, and equipment and questionnaires should be collected. A physical examination, any procedures, and laboratory tests should be performed. The visit should conclude with providing the subject with the parking voucher and the stipend. This further encourages the subject to return for subsequent visits.
