Abstract AND Introduction

Because of the claims for short drying durations combined with low drying temperatures and small solvent retention in order to realise high conveyor-belt velocities in serial manufacture of automobiles, the chemical composition and properties (hydroxyl and carboxyl value, average molecular weight) of high-sol id varnishes and the dispersing conditions with additional variation of hardeners for powder varnishes were varied. Some dependences between thermoanalytical values as for example temperatures and specific heat of reaction and the above mentioned parameters were found.
