Estimation of Instantaneous Caloric Effect in the Heat Exchange Type of Calorimetry
The previously reported technique of the heat exchange type of titration calorimetry, which depends on operational amplifier circuitry for computation, has been improved to give much more precise values of instantaneous heat. Since double differentiation of the observed temperature is necessary for obtaining instantaneous heat and the analog computation is not suited for differentiation, advantage of a digital technique has been successfully taken for the on-line calculation of instantaneous heats.
