“Open System” DSC: A New Approach of Isothermal Investigations

The “open structure of SETARAM DSC 111 allows a new approach of isothermal method by using an automatic and symmetrical introducer of samples. By reducing the the thermal effect due to the introduction of the cells, more informations on the beginning of the eaction can be collected.”

The interest of the device is shown through different classical isothermal applications polymerisation, crystallisation, decomposition.
