Kinetic Analysis from Thermogravimetric Traces

Abstract

KINETIC ANALYSIS USING THE THERMAL ANALYSIS TECHNIQUES IS WELL KNOWN AND IS AN ESTABLISHED PRACTICE. SEVERAL TREATMENTS HAVE BEEN PROPOSED FROM TIME TO TIME. IN THE RECENT PAST, ZSAKO1 PROPOSED A METHOD WHICH HAS BEEN FOUND TO BE WIDELY APPLICABLE. IN THE PRESENT APPROACH, ZSAKO’S TRIAL AND ERROR METHOD HAS BEEN FURTHER SIMPLIFIED SO AS TO ENABLE TO ASSIGN MECHANISM AT EACH TEMPERATURE OF THE PROCESS UNDER INVESTIGATION.
