Abstract

In the previous chapters, we derived the electric and magnetic fields from the known properties of the electric currents that generated them. In this chapter, we assume that the radial component of magnetic field on the surface of the sphere is known as a function of time, and we use this boundary condition to select the correct solution of the wave equation for the fields.
