Abstract

Perennial wetland herb, rhizomatous. Stem erect or ascending from basal leaf rosette, rounded, glabrous, 10–15 cm high. Leaves reniform, petiolate, serrate. Flowers solitary in axils, nodding, fragrant. Corolla yellow, the lower petal with three violet lines, the lateral petals directed askew upwards. Fruit is a broadly ovoid capsule containing obovate seeds with elaiosomes.
