Abstract

Perennial wetland deciduous shrub. Twigs erect, 60–250 cm high, annual shoots yellowish. Leaves linear, boat-like, 1–5 mm long, glabrous, grey-green. Pentamerous tiny flowers in dense terminal racemes, corolla whitish or pinkish. Fruit is a capsule with irregular-cylindric seeds with feathery appendage.
