Synchronization and Applications of Fractional-Order Chaotic Systems
Fractional-order chaotic oscillators can be used to generate random binary strings for cryptographic applications. This is one of the applications described herein, as well as one example of implementing a secure communication scheme based on fractional-order chaotic attractors. In this case, two fractional-order chaotic oscillators are synchronized and adapted to design a transmitter-receiver topology that is implemented on FPGAs. This fractional-order secure communication system is tested by performing the masking of several images.
