Laparoscopic Pyloroplasty

Abstract

Delayed gastric emptying causes nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. When these symptoms cannot be adequately managed with diet and medications, laparoscopic pyloroplasty can be performed to improve emptying and alleviate gastroparesis symptoms in 80–95% of patients.
