Study on Product Information Coding in the Context of Universal Design

Abstract

This paper studies the design method of product information coding in the context of universal design, and puts forward an effective design method of information redundancy in the context of universal design. Determine the main body information and situation information of the product, and use redundant information to assist the design of the main body information and situation information, so that the product information can be fully conveyed. By determining the design method of information redundancy in product appearance modeling, this method is validated by taking massage chair design as an example, so as to determine the guiding significance of this method for product general design. Redundant information is used to assist product information coding, which helps to reduce the noise in the channel and to supplement the description of product functions; it is more inclusive and usable to help all users complete accurate solutions; ensures the consistency of information transmission; and reduces the interference of invalid information to users.
