Abstract

In order to understand properly the relativistic fluids it is best to study them in comparison with the Newtonian fluids, provided the latter are approached from a relativistic point of view. In the following we restrict our discussion to Newtonian Physics and Special Relativity, however in a way which generalizes naturally to General Relativity where this topic is of fundamental importance. For the shake of clarity and completeness we might need to repeat some basic concepts of previous chapters, however in a slightly different spirit.
