- 1.Anterior abdominal wall:
Rectus abdominal muscle is the thickest muscle of the abdominal wall.
Abdominal block is done between external oblique and transversus abdominis muscles.
Blood supply to anterior abdominal wall is via inferior epigastric artery only.
Anterior abdominal wall is supplied by posterior primary root of T6-L1.
There is no overlap between the nerves.
