Abstract

  1. 1.
    Spinal anaesthesia:
    1. (a)

      Can be used solely for mid abdominal surgeries.

       
    2. (b)

      Diaphragm is blocked with spinal anaesthesia.

       
    3. (c)

      Spinal headache is seen less in young patients.

       
    4. (d)

      Usage of small needles decreases the incidence.

       
    5. (e)

      Incidence of neurologic injury with spinal anaesthesia is less than general anaesthesia.
