China’s One Belt One Road Initiative in Africa

As part of its economic transformation, China continues to find new ways to continue its growth. One of the means through which China seeks to guarantee its position as an economic powerhouse is through its policy of looking outwards. China has for the past four decades realized the importance other countries could play in its economic development. It has thus sought to establish strong ties with nations that are strategic and that have a part to play in its intended objectives. Consequently, to achieve these economic objectives, China has come up with its going global strategy. This strategy follows the trail of economic transformation and open policy originally promulgated by previous Chinese leaders.
