Revisional Robotic Bariatric Surgery

Abstract

Bariatric surgery has very good outcomes in over 60% of patients. However, a significant proportion of these patients will not achieve significant weight loss, will regain weight, or will experience complications from the procedure [3]. The main reasons for this lack of success are related to the type of primary surgery performed, patient characteristics, and patient’s adoption of new eating habits.
