Abstract

Multidisciplinary discussion is becoming a clinical method to approach complex patients. The sharing of expertise and knowledge during a formal meeting is a sort of maieutic method for eliciting new ideas from each other. Recent studies documented that multidisciplinary discussion in interstitial lung diseases involving clinicians, radiologists, and pathologists may increase the confidence of diagnoses and increase the cultural background of the group.
