Abstract

Suprascapular neuropathy can be caused by entrapment of the suprascapular nerve, with the symptoms produced determined by the location of impingement along its course. Neurolysis is considered an effective treatment for this condition to improve function and reduce muscle dysfunction and atrophic change.
