Rectal Stump Perforation Stump While Passing an End-to-End Anastomotic Stapler
Perforation of the rectal stump during end-to-end anastomosis should be prevented. In case of perforation, repair approach depends on the amount of disruption and the residual length of the rectum. Diverting stoma should be considered in all cases.
