Identification and Control of a Car Speed Dynamics Using Artificial Intelligence
The paper proposes an original solution to identify and control the speed dynamics of a car, using neural networks. The neural network which models the car speed is trained based on experimental input-output data sets which were obtained from a real car. In this purpose, during the experiment, all the signals which are important for the car dynamics are measured. Based on the determined neural reference model of the car dynamics, a car speed control strategy is proposed. In the paper, the simulations of the car dynamics, both in open and in closed loop, are presented, the efficiency of the applied methods being proved.
