Abstract

In the book ‘Diffusive Spreading in Nature, Technology and Society’ Fritzsche (Diffusive Spreading in Nature, Technology and Society, Springer, 2018) writes: ‘Any kind of space in which the notion of proximity can be formed, mathematically addressed by the term “neighbourhood”, allows the application of diffusion models’.
