Abstract

In history, mainly politicians have been given the title “great negotiator”, for example US President Lyndon B. Johnson for his masterful way of dealing with Congress, former US Senator George Mitchell, who chaired the Northern Ireland peace negotiations that led to the 1998 “Good Friday Agreement”, or the South African leader Nelson Mandela who brokered the end of apartheid. In the EEA context, this title belongs to ESA, as I will explain in this Chapter.
