Abstrait

Les cancers sans primitif connu regroupent les cancers présentant des métastases sans que le site primitif soit découvert après examen clinique, examens biologiques, radiologiques et/ou endoscopiques au moment du choix thérapeutique (4). Ils représentent de 3 à 10 % de tous les cancers (9, 12). Une atteinte du squelette est retrouvée chez 10 à 15 % d’entre eux (5, 7, 12, 15). La plus grande partie de ces cancers sont des carcinomes sans primitif connu. La médiane de survie est de 6 à 12 mois (1, 15).
