Abstract

Current-based hybrid analyses have the potential to solve a broad class of complex electromagnetic scattering and radiation problems. In this paper, the discussion emphasizes the development of a new hybrid analysis that incorporates a surface-wave basis set. Representative examples illustrate the effectiveness of this new method for both scattering and radiation problems involving 2D and 3D objects with coatings.
