Case 1 From the Diary of a Thirteen-Year-Old (Asthma)

  • Margaret E. Backman

Abstract

Breath. Everyone takes breath for granted. But you, you’re an asthmatic person suffering one of your worst attacks. A slight drizzle earlier in the evening was all you needed for a start. The extremely warm September night doesn’t help either. The people around see you sitting there nervous and shaking, and the perspiration rolling down your face and neck.
