Abstract

Poster presentations in this session cover four areas of importance in extracorporeal shock-wave lithotripsy (ESWL). These are: effectiveness of specific types of lithotripsy equipment; relation between lithotripsy and late complication such as stone recurrence, hypertension, or decreased renal function; and observations on immediate or delayed morphology and function of treated animal or human kidneys.
