Normal Values of Lithogenic and Inhibitory Substances in the Urine of Healthy Children

Abstract

Up to the present time, there have been no sufficiently-reliable data on normal urinary excretion parameters in children in order to establish standards for urolithiasis risk. The present study examines 24-h urine samples in 473 healthy children (320 boys and 153 girls) in order to address this.
