Contribution of Different Doses of Ascorbic Acid to Urinary Oxalate and its Influence on the Mineralization Process
We have evaluated the actual contribution of ascorbic acid (AA) to urinary oxalate excretion using disodium EDTA as preservative in 16 healthy control subjects (HC), 17 stone formers who had not had surgical treatment for stones (USF), and 9 stone formers who had undergone surgery (OSF).
