Abstract

The production of re-inforced engineering plastics relies on a number of non destructive (ND) instrumental techniques for monitoring product composition and quality assurance. Recent quality initiatives have meant that international standards such as ISO-9000 have to implemented. This is designed to improve process monitoring, and give customers the confidence in the manufacturing, and proof that the process is under control.
