Space Qualification Program of a Signaal USFA Tactical Cooler for the Mars 1996 Space Mission

Abstract
This paper describes the different tests which have been made to qualify for the MARS 96 space mission the 7056 SIGNAAL USFA tactical cooler, such as:

thermal vacuum tests;

thermal cycling tests;

lifetime tests,

integration and detector compatibility tests,

launch vibration tests;

induced vibration tests.
