Trichotomic Observables, Eberhard’s Inequality and Parametric-Down Conversion Sources in Quantum Non-Locality Experiments

Abstract

Until now, in the experiments on Einstein Locality (EL) the procedure was the following:
  1. 1)

    Starting from the hypothesis of locality, an inequality[1] was deduced for dichotomic observables (values +1,-1);

  2. 2)

    Supplementary assumptions were introduced in the local theory in order to deduce a new inequality for measurable quantities[2,3];

  3. 3)

    The values of these measurable quantities were deduced in Quantum Mechanics (QM) using other additional hassumptions.
