P-Representation of Cross Spectral Density
Conference paper
Abstract
The coherent mode representation is quite useful to investigate the coherence properties of the individual sources and fields,1 however it does not seem to provide any direct comparison between sources or fields, since we have different sets of coherent mode eigenfunctions for different cross-spectral densities in general. For this reason, it. would be more desirable to represent different cross-spectral densities by a universal set of functions.
