Biological Control of Plant Parasitic Nematodes

Abstract
In biological control of plant diseases and nematodes in cropping system one could shift from the concept of direct control vs. the concept of management which is a complex procedure directed to reduce and maintain the numbers of pests/pathogens to noninjurious levels rather than to eradicate them. In fact, antagonistic organisms usually do not act suddenly and drastically on their prey or target organism because they need some time to develop an epidemic and are affected by the environmental conditions.
