Abstract

Healthcare organizations are in the business of trying to improve the human condition through a variety of organizational efforts. They are always making changes in services, departments, information systems, and so forth. An evaluation of those efforts is important to prove the value of the program or service. An evaluation of a health informatics system is needed not only to prove its value, but also to determine if the system is doing what was intended originally.
