Abstract

Radiation detectors are used in nuclear physics experiments and for on-satellite radiation measurements (e.g. of solar wind activity). Typically, a large number of detectors are monitored and processed in parallel. The purpose is to measure the energy of particles, coming from e.g. the sun or star, as they hit one ore several detectors.
