Disorders of the Peripheral Nervous System

Abstract

Disorders of the peripheral nervous system include a wide variety of conditions with diverse causes and presentations. Certain disease processes seem to involve the peripheral nervous system preferentially; its long and often vulnerable axons determine its responses to various injuries and insults.1
