Applications of the differential balances to energy and mass transfer

Abstract

In Chapter 3, we discussed detailed descriptions of flows in which the effects of any temperature or concentration gradients could be neglected. In what follows, we offer a brief guide to the solution of problems in which these effects can not be dismissed.
